Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so it’s time to start making reservations! Not sure where to head for this romantic holiday? These Tokyo restaurants offer a range of romantic dining experiences!

1. Hammock Café + Gallery mahika mano

This unique café spot is a great place to cozy up together, literally. Known for its interesting seating options, mahika mano in Kichijoji is a great place to relax the day away with your sweetheart. And it doesn’t hurt that their drinks are amazing.

Make sure to book the star room at and people Ginza after 4:00 pm for an insanely romantic dinner experience. and people has three branches, one in Ginza and two in Shibuya (Jinnan and Udagawa), with a variety of romantic and cozy rooms to dine in, each with a different feel. In the Ginza branch’s star room, and people uses projection mapping on the ceilings to make a gorgeous starry night you won’t soon forget!

Joel Robuchon is located inside an 18th Century French-style château just outside of Ebisu station and if asked to describe the atmosphere, “luxurious” would be an understatement. This happens to be one of only three Michelin-rated 3-star French restaurants in the city, and it shows. You’re sure to have a truly special and romantic experience.

Not only that, it’s got a great cozy interior and plenty of seating to take shelter from the cold.

Afternoon Tea serves a lot more than just tea and has plenty of locations to choose from, all with a charming and comfortable interior design. It’s a great place to take a date any day, but Valentine’s Day seems particularly fitting.

There’s no place like home. Sometimes the best way to find exactly what you’re looking for is to do it yourself, and nothing is more romantic than a carefully prepared home-cooked meal. Add in candles, flowers, and Valentine’s chocolate, and you’ve created an intimate Valentine’s evening from the heart.
